Uninstall ShortKeys 3
I cannot uninstall ShortKeys 3
Sometimes uninstalling ShortKeys 3 fails. (Installing and uninstalling has been greatly improved in ShortKeys 4.)
1. Delete all of the files in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\ShortKeys 3
2. If you are comfortable using RegEdit we recommend the following: Delete the registry entries in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Insight Software Solutions\ShortKeys 3
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Insight Software Solutions\ShortKeys 3
3. Open the Windows File Explorer. One way to do this is to type WIN+E. In the address bar of File Explorer type “shell:common startup”. This will open the Windows Startup folder. This contains shortcuts for programs that start when Windows starts up. Delete any shortcut for ShortKeys3.
**** This may leave the uninstall ShortKeys 3 option in Windows Settings, Apps. Windows should prompt you and offer to remove ShortKeys 3 from the list of installed Apps.
Warning: Incorrect registry changes may cause your PC to no longer function. Use with caution! If you are not comfortable making changes to your registry, you should ask someone for help who is familiar with changing the registry. We recommend you backup your registry before making any changes.
