ShortKeys Portable

Install ShortKeys Portable on any portable drive that can be connected to and disconnected from your computer. These may be referred to as a USB drive, flash drive, flash memory, thumb drive, memory stick or portable hard drive. ShortKeys Portable will run from that device rather than the local computer.

Portable Menu

ShortKeys Portable includes Portable Menu. This program will load ShortKeys Portable or other programs on your portable device.

ShortKeys Portable Notes

  • Will not leave traces of the program on the hard drive of the machine where the program is run.
  • There is no uninstaller. To uninstall use File Explorer to delete the files from your portable device.
  • To run, you must first enter a valid ShortKeys Portable license.
  • The options to import or export the program preferences have been removed.
  • The “Run when Windows starts up” preference option is not available.
  • The “Save settings as defaults for all users” preference option has been removed.
  • The .shk file association is not linked to ShortKeys Portable. You cannot double-click on a .shk file to load it into the program.
  • Default locations for the .shk macro file, temp directory, etc. are stored on the portable drive.
