Shortkey text did not type
I typed out the shortkey in my program. The shortkey was removed, but the replacement never appeared.
You are likely using the ‘Playback using Clipboard’ option and your application does not support the standard ‘Ctrl-v’ command for pasting data into it. You have two options to try and overcome this problem.
- ShortKeys will have copied the replacement data to the Windows clipboard. After you see your short key disappear, you can invoke the clipboard paste command that is supported by your program.
- Select the ‘Playback using Keyboard’ option and the replacement text will be sent to your application as if it were being typed in.
