How do I change the default location of the data file?
There are several ways to approach this.
- In the bottom panel of the ShortKeys window you will see the name and location of the shortkey (.shk) file in use. Open File Explorer and copy the file to a new location. Open ShortKeys and click on File, Open File and open the file from the new location.
- Click on File, Export Shortkeys File. Click on the Select All button to highlight all of the shortkeys in the file. Click on the Export button and save the shortkeys to a new file in the location desired. In the ShortKeys window, click on File, Open File and navigate to where you saved the exported shortkeys. Select the file and load it in.
- Click on File, New File and create a new Shortkey (.shk) file in the location you want.
Restart ShortKeys and the new file is saved as the default .shk file.
