Back up the data

How do I back up the shortkey data file?

I have several bak001, bak002...bak008 files appearing on my desktop. What are these?

How do I change the default location of the data file?

What is the extension and location of the data file?

I get a "file access denied" message when trying to add and save a new shortkey.

When opening ShortKeys I receive "The file, _________.shk, does not exist" error. Would you like to create it?

ShortKeys shows that the file is locked and in use by another user even though I am the only user.
